The capital warmly welcomed KIOGE 2021
Today, on October 5, KIOGE-2021, the 27th International Oil & Gas Exhibition, began its work in Nur-Sultan. On the first day, the exhibition was visited by 727 people, including representatives of government agencies, industry unions and associations, specialists of foreign and national oil and gas companies, as well as the media.
Among the honored guests was Kenzhebek Ibrashev, General Director of the KAZENERGY Association. He studied in detail the stands of the participants, met with representatives of oil and gas and service companies from other countries. Kenzhebek Ibrashev praised the level of organization of the event and noted the importance of such events for the development of the industry.
156 companies from Austria, Bahrain, the Republic of Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Russia, and Croatia presented the latest technological, engineering, and software developments for oil and gas production companies from leading production, oil and gas, and oil service companies. Such major companies as KazMunayGas, Caspian Pipeline Consortium, TCO, Lukoil, Tatneft and TMK presented their stands. National stands were presented by the Republic of Belarus and Germany. Four regions of the Russian Federation demonstrated export potential of their enterprises at KIOGE-2021. During the three days of the exhibition visitors and participants may get acquainted with companies from Samara, Volgograd regions, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Mordovia, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Udmurt Republic and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District.
As Liliya Zulkarnayeva, a representative of the Center for support of export of the Republic of Bashkortostan, noted, six companies from Bashkortostan are represented at the exhibition. Already on the first day, each of them held negotiations and business meetings.
A number of presentations were hosted in the seminar area of the exhibition, which attracted the attention of both subsoil users and service companies, mass media and industry experts.
The business program is diverse and includes not only highly specialized topics, but also business presentations.
Klinkmann Kazakhstan company spoke on “Implementation of the single production control center”. Tengizchevroil LLP presented its TCO procurement plan. Representatives of Tengizchevroil also familiarized subsoil users and potential suppliers of services and goods with the supplier development program, which is implemented jointly with the EBRD.
Responding to journalists’ questions, Marina Li, Director of oil and gas projects at Iteca LLP, noted that KIOGE is an effective platform where agreements are reached, it promotes the development of Kazakhstani companies and makes it possible to demonstrate global best practices, technologies and their applications.
The exhibitors noted full compliance with safety and sanitary and epidemiological measures at the expo-event site.
The second day of the exhibition will begin with a visit to the site by Magzum Mirzagaliyev, Minister of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Oil & Gas exhibition will last for two more days and we are waiting for oil and gas industry professionals by pre-registering on the event website!
