The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the Kazakhstan International Oil and Gas Exhibition KIOGE-2021
The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Magzum Mirzagaliev got acquainted with the products and developments of oil and gas and service companies presented at the International Oil and Gas Exhibition - KIOGE 2021. At the national stand of the Republic of Belarus, the Minister was shown the production of seven enterprises ready to cooperate with kazakh companies. German service companies, which are represented at the national stand of Germany, also spoke about their intentions to develop business in Kazakhstan.
Magzum Mirzagaliev elaborated on the stand of the company KazMunayGaz, where he was demonstrated domestic development – the ABAI information system. This is a full-scale Big Data project using artificial intelligence and machine learning, providing collection, processing, storage and transmission of data. Five modules, such as process mode, complication monitoring, downhole pumping equipment selection, database and visualization centre, are currently being piloted. Production of all 16 modules is planned in the first quarter of 2022. ABAI makes it possible to increase the efficiency of estimation of natural resources data of Kazakhstan and helps in making effective decisions.
The Minister then visited the stands of Russian enterprises, which are quite widely represented on KIOGE.
“The exhibition is a very important event in terms of attracting new technologies to our country and gaining new contacts between our enterprises for cooperation. The exhibition has a very good future and I hope that the number of expositions will only grow”, said Magzum Mirzagaliyev, answering journalists' questions.
KIOGE 2021 is devoted to more than 13 sections, including: oil production, geophysical work, engineering services, construction, non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics. This year, 156 companies from Austria, Bahrain, the Republic of Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Russia, Croatia take part in KIOGE. The total area of the exposition is 2,700 sq.m.
“The KIOGE site has always been distinguished by the fact that it was comfortable for representatives of all directions and related areas. We always try to give the companies the opportunity to find solutions to all their problems. This year, for obvious reasons, it was difficult for foreign companies to get to the exhibition, but despite this, nine countries are represented at the exhibition”, said Marina Li, director of oil and gas projects of Iteca LLP.
Let us remind, the 27th International Oil and Gas Exhibition KIOGE-2021 is being held in Nur-Sultan from October 5 to 7, 2021. The entrance to the event is free, by prior registration with a choice of time of attendance and control at the entrance through Ashyq app.
KIOGE is traditionally held with the official support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the ALE Kazakhstan Association of Oil and Gas and Energy Complex Organizations KAZENERGY, JSC NC KazMunayGas, the Union of Service Companies of Kazakhstan KazService, Kazakhstan Society of Petroleum Geologists (KSPG), Strategic Partnerships Council PETROCOUNCIL.

* This year KIOGE was organized for the 27th time, for the first time the exhibition opened its doors in 1993 in Almaty and became the largest industry event in Central Asia.
